I started my muscle-gain journey about 10 months ago when I got tired of being the scrawny guy that could blow away with the wind, and decided to document my progress as much as possible. I know there are not a ton of pictures and not very good posing, but I hope it’s sufficient. I’ve worked very hard to get where I am now. My body is very stingy about putting on weight, especially muscle. I have an incredibly high metabolism, but I’ve tried my best to work around that. I put on a solid 35 pounds of dense muscle and I’m still nowhere near where I would like to be. My journey continues and I hope that this video may inspire some to take on the challenge. Thank you! 4 Day Split: Chest Biceps/Triceps Shoulders/Back Legs/Abs Supplements: 100% Whey Protein Height: 5’8″ Age: 19 I eat 5-6 meals a day, foods high in protein (lots of tuna, chicken, eggs) and carbs (rice, breads, potatoes, pasta). Protein shakes/bars in between meals, eating at least every 2 hours. Video Rating: 4 / 5
From how muscular you look you should be 170 Ibs at least I dont get why your so light im 145 and only a month into weightlifting and i dont look anything like your pictures,(muscle wise)
Hey man, I just started training like 4 weeks ago. How often were you eating a day. Did you have a strict diet? I go to school all day and i do have three meals a day and a protein bar (32g of protein) and a shake (50g of protein) during the day. I workout about an hour and a half and have been gradually adding weight and started bench pressing and squatting. What do you recommend bro?

Well done mate, that is one hell of a transformation! am going through one myself, i just need help to maintain motivated, what did you use to keep you motivated?
@cstritz I’m not bashing anyone, i’m just sceptic, it’s my right to be, and i never said he didn’t do a good job.
But you can’t gain 40pounds/18KG PURE muscle in 1 year, you must have gained fat also, which is impossible for a real ectomorph
I know guys who are mesomorph but were skinny before, but they gained quick, it’s not because you where skinny before that it automatically makes you an ectomorph, real ectomorphs hardly gain, it takes years and years. The word ectomorph is over used
@Trevor1182 Dont go bashing this guy because he did what you cant. I am an ectomorph myself and gained 40 pounds in a year. NO steroids. This guy IS an ectomorph as you can see from the pics at the start. And just because you work out 4 days a week and eat as much as you want does not mean that you are doing yourself any justice. Its in HOW you work out. Not how often. Also i recommend only 3 days a week. And eat all natural foods 6 times a day, high protein, high calorie, high carbs, low fat.
@redparrot99 They are called “external oblique”, most people (especially females) do NOT show this kind of muscle, mainly because of a too high percentage of fat on your body, if you are a true ectomorph, like me, these muscles are very clearly visable, i can even push my abs abit to the side so there is a ‘hole’ between my external oblique and my front abs, its sick
@NotouriousWog2nv THAT’S THE THING PEOPLE, the more i see this vid, i’m starting to think 3 things: 1; he is NOT an ectomorph, 2; he was still going through puberty, 3; steroids or some other stuff… I’m not saying he didn’t do a good job, not at all, i’m just saying that you might have to consider these 3 points i just made… I’m a REAL actomorph, im 28 now, i train 4 days a week, i can eat as much as i want, i HARDLY gain, only thing that happens is my muscles and 6 pack get more definition
A really inspiring video! I went to the gym 3 weeks ago and I’m happy I forced myself to do it, cause “I got tired of being the scrawny guy that could be blow away with the wind”. Keep improving your results, man. My best regards to you.
