Honored all around the world and especially on the Internet, Steve Jobs did have a great life and contribute great creative ideas and products. Owning two technological giants, Apple and Pixar, Steve has gained a respectful success that most of entrepreneurs always want to learn. So what makes Steve Jobs such a legendary name?
“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
His philosophy emphasizes on product excellence rather than market survival skills. When you can differentiate yourself in the industry and become a first mover, you are the winner. iMac, iPhone, iPad, etc. are all excellent! They are all gorgeous, fast and no products can compare. Many products try to follow the similar path but the technology is not competitive enough so that Apple is still the dominant elegant player.
“You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.”
He is the one who created the demand! Steve has foreseen the trend and built up new ideas. He is considered the guy who changed the world through mindset. People hold Apple’s products not because they are useful but they are cool and bring users into the next level. Whoever getting used to Apple’s products will never want to change into the other brands.
Steve’s nonstop efforts inspire us in any career. We need to keep looking for what we really love and be consistent to gain a great success. “Stay hungry and stay foolish”, said Steve. We need a fire in doing anything to reach the target and every success starts with a love and persistency.
